Bracco Diagnostics Inc. Continues Support of ASRT
Princeton, NJ, Wednesday, June 07, 20

Contrast Media Company Makes Donations to Support Scholarship Program, Advisory Council, at 2006 Annual Conference in Denver.

Bracco Diagnostics Inc. (BDI), a leader in diagnostic imaging, underscored its commitment to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) by donating funds to support a key scholarship program, co-sponsoring the World Congress Opening Ceremony at the 2006 ASRT Annual Conference in Denver, CO.
Bracco Diagnostics, with its "gold" level membership in the Health Care Industry Advisory Council, committed $5,000 to support the ASRT’s Jerman-Cahoon Scholarship Program in 2006, through ASRT’s Scholarship Patron Program.
"We understand the important role radiologic technologists play in the development and use of our products and services," said Jim Waples, X-ray and Computed Tomography Product Manager for BDI.  "They are, in many ways, our nexus to clinical environment, and we depend on them for feedback and insights that help us better meet patient and professional needs.  It is our priority to support ASRT's education and information efforts in this regard."

BDI has been a member of the Health Care Industry Advisory Council since its inception in 1999, which is key to this effort.
"The future of technology continues to be dynamic and it offers many challenges for industry leaders," said Sal Martino, Foundation chief operating officer.  "Impressively, Bracco has led the way by putting importance on technologists' feedback in guiding its overall product development.  We are proud and honored to have them as a continuing member of the Health Care Industry Advisory Council."

BDI will also provide $5000 to co-sponsor the opening ceremony at the 2006 ASRT Conference, to be held June 9-13.
